Acoustic Wave Therapy™ is an advanced cellulite treatment that helps smooth skin in areas where dimpling commonly forms: the thighs, buttocks, abdomen, and arms. Acoustic Wave Therapy™ improves the skin’s appearance by causing the connective tissue to stretch, increasing elasticity. Patients typically experience improvement in the skin’s texture and elasticity as well as dermal firming. Acoustic Wave Therapy™ cellulite treatments, available to our St. Petersburg, Florida-area patients, typically last 30 minutes. For optimum results, patients may require six or more treatments.

A non-invasive procedure, Acoustic Wave Therapy™ patients can return to their daily routines immediately following treatment. Minor side effects such as bruising or swelling may occur. Jeffrey A. Hunt D.O., R.V.S., R.V.P.I. will stagger appointments a week apart for patients requiring multiple treatments in order to accurately gauge improvement.
